Antwerp Motorcycle History

Seen yesterday on the local village fair: a 1906 Minerva motorcycle, with an air-cooled V-twin engine. Minerva (in Antwerp, Belgium) not only built motorcycles, they also constructed cars that rivaled Rolls-Royce in quality and price.

My R1100S is more comfortable to ride, but this centenarian certainly commands respect. How would it feel to ride such a cycle, I wonder?
