Evolution Rocks!

It’s a silly title for a blog entry, I know, but nevertheless: February 12th was the birthday of Charles Robert Darwin. Darwins discovery of some of the basic principles of the evolution of life were spectacular in his time, and remain the foundation of much of the life sciences as we know them today. So let’s celebrate his genius, and make sure that the science of biology is well-known by all. In that context, it’s good to see that the University of Ghent (Belgium) has a dedicated website to explain the theory of evolution. Isn’t that the mission of any educational instutution: making facts well-know to the public?
